The guy just has his xbmc HTPC plugged into the xboxs hdmi input. It is not running natively.

apple tv 2 plugged in, if you listen he says at least twice its a apple tv2, so yea hoax.

Hi all,

I have my home cinema XBMC PC connected via HDMI to the Xbox One passthrough HDMI port and it works a treat

when i play a movie it stutters with no sound anyone have a fix

Have you tested with HD audio such as AC3, DTS, DTS-HD, DTS-HDMA, and TrueHD?

Anything special with the stuttering videos such as Profiles or HD audio? Could you provide any mediainfo outputs for the ones that stutter?

reviving this thread now that msft has come out with their universal apps idea of a set of tools that will supposedly make it easy to develop an app that can work on windows, windows phone, and xbox one.

im guessing it doesn't change anything or not enough info yet. but i am curious.

Interesting reading how Plex is coming to the Xbox One via universal apps - would be nice to see XBMC on there as well.

Can you imagine Kinect integration? The Xbox One would easily be the ultimate HTPC (and an immediate purchase for me).

Use Xbox One voice commands to play, pause, and stop Kodi (XBMC) along with some home automation stuff with LED lights....
