I was thinking about using a cheap 7" LCD + a raspberry pi to create dumb-thin-screens for my car. One for each kid in the back seat (currently two). They would be controlled by a main unit/tablet in the front using the XBMC web-interface for each unit.
So what I'm looking for is a "skin" that just sits there, with no menu interface. Rotating fan-art could be a nice touch though.
Does such a thing exist? If it doesn't, and I make it, would anyone else be interested in it?

Are you sure you won't need any settings? Not even osd settings or screen calibration? A way to switch back to original Confluence?
Notifications or player progress? I'd suggest grabbing Confluence and start taking parts out.
