Hi. You switch on debugging in the main xbmc settings, not the ptvl settings.

Nope, I have an option in PTVL now... that provides me with extra debugging information...

Well I guess I'm good then because my last paste is my log with debugging enabled Smile

Your using an old copy that's why you don't see an option for enabling debugging.... Before you send logs, and have issue with "bugs" you should always make sure your running the latest master Smile

Debug turned on, sharing permissions setup on feeds folder, and logs captured for latest addon version.

Default feeds, and a TV Network channel I've added work fine.

Any ideas why it's not being added?

Thanks for the help.

I had a similar problem adding strm files I followed the instructions here and was able to get them working, you might try it and see if it fixes your issue as well.

Please read my posts... I don't change anything without giving my users a heads up first...and this was addressed no more then two days ago...

Any ETA when this will work on Gotham?

XMLTV files purchased at http://www.timefor.tv do NOT meet DTD specifications, so save your money.

Log file for any interested: (cut down to 500 kb)

I will update for Gotham when Gotham is in it's "Release Candidate" stage.

Before I posted the issue I downloaded the version listed master from the first post and tried it to see if that would fix the issue. Is there somewhere else I should be downloading from?
Hello,

I have read threw the whole forum before posting, to make sure i've read everything. It was quite a bit Tongue. But i've learned much about the plugin and I've played around it with it some. Thank you for the work you've put into this. I can upload the .strm files i use for InternetTV when i've organised it better.

I can confirm a couple of addons that work with PsuedoTV Live (some might not be legal in all countries):

- Nederland 24 (It has a couple of dutch live tv streams. I think GEO-locked).
- 1Channel (I first import them to the library, I've only tested one show, it loaded slower cause of the link resolving i guess, but it loaded fine)
- Simply Player (I first import them to the library)

And a couple that were already mentioned.

A feature i would love to see is i can have more control on the local channels i build.
So let's say i have a channel called "Comedy", then i would like to say it airs "Scrubs" from 18:00 - 20:30, and it starts a random comedy movie at 20:30.
Then once i've set it once, it follows this pattern each day, but fills random scrubs episodes for the scrubs slot etc.
It would also be nice if i can say it shows the latest episode, or in order, or only unwatched. etc.

It just's an idea, but that would be a feature i'm missing. The rest is pretty much covered, i'm really loving the plugin. I'm gonna do a donation when i recieve some money again Big Grin!

I'm gonna update to the latest master just released and will report problems if i encounter some.

Well shut my mouth. Guess i haven't needed to worry about it for while, which is great thing!

Ok apparently there was some real strangeness going on because even though I had the latest build & deleted both

Code:
C:\Users\UserName\AppData\Roaming\XBMC\addons\script.pseudotv.live-master
and
Code:
C:\Users\UserName\AppData\Roaming\XBMC\userdata\addon_data\script.pseudotv.live

by hand for some reason it wasn't updating what finally worked was unzipping the download and manually placing the files into C:\Users\UserName\AppData\Roaming\XBMC\addons\script.pseudotv.live-master

So I enabled dubugging and got the right log Finally,

Here you go: http://paste.ubuntu.com/6582300/

As I mentioned in a previous post, if I switch to the channels which have this issue

Image

They then seem to fix themselves.

Finally I moved the content of my first post to this post so here again is my suggestion for YouTube channels Big Grin

I have been able to interleave YouTube channels which works great, so I can have say the onion yt channel & the cinema sins yt channel playing on one channel. But I notice when I hit the info button, it doesn't say what channel the video is on, so maybe you could possibly add that info to the info overlay in some way. Just a thought
A "bug" I noticed was that if you have a LiveTV channel and local content as well, it will appear like in your screenshot above.
Only one item playing for the entire time. Only when I enable EPG Colors/Genre in the Visual Settings of PTV, will I see individual items
not one movie playing 24/7.
(2013-12-15, 00:43)wrbranch83 Wrote: Having a slight issue with playing local media. In the original PseudoTV plugin, I used to be able to "Play Shows In Order" so that S01E01 would always be followed by S01E02 and so on. Now when I chose to have a channel play shows in order, that doesn't happen, instead I end up with say S01E01 followed by S01E05.

Has anyone else experienced this? Is this the expected behavior?

I am experiencing the same behaviour. I have set a channel to play shows in order and play unwatched. However it seems to be just showing random episodes of which some I have seen Confused
I really don't care about EPG for LiveTV, as I hardly ever watch LiveTV. Will it be possible in the final to forgo the necessity to have an XMLTV file with actual content for LiveTV?
i have not used ptvl in awhile but last time i did you did not have to add xmltv file to use anything. you just needed xmltv file if you use chantype 8 and you don't need to use chantype 8 you can use chantype 9.

i have also seen a lot of problems ppl are having with xmltv and im pretty sure they are all user error or the program you are using to collect xmltv just does not work well with ptvl. i was having a lot of problems then i switched my grabber and had no more problems.
I can't seem to get PSTL to work on Ubuntu. Any suggestions?

Thanks scilz, that was a good idea, but it works for USTVNOW (but EPG crashes) only unfortunately, couldn't get LiveTV (via mediaportal) to run with channel type 9.
Had just a black screen. Even after complete reinstall of PTV no chance. That's a bummer.

Code:
<settings>
    <setting id="Channel_1_type" value="9" />
    <setting id="Channel_1_1" value="5400" />
    <setting id="Channel_1_2" value="pvr://channels/tv/All TV channels/7.pvr" />
    <setting id="Channel_1_3" value="ARD" />
    <setting id="Channel_1_4" value="Test run. Hold your horses (and sheep)." />
    <setting id="Channel_1_rulecount" value="1" />
    <setting id="Channel_1_changed" value="True" />
    <setting id="Channel_1_time" value="0" />
    <setting id="Channel_1_rule_1_id" value="1" />
    <setting id="Channel_1_rule_1_opt_1" value="ARD" />
    <setting id="LastResetTime" value="1387229135" />
</settings>
