Android Installed XBMC on Android TV Box and got crappy result?
#1
Hello,
I installed 12.2 XBMC on an Energy Android TV Box (MBX Android Smart TV Box) running Android 4.0.3 and as I see it has batter hardware has AppleTV 2.

- Processor with architecture ARM Cortex A9 providing high performance and low power consumption.
- RAM 512 MB DDR2.
- GPU Mali 400 with support to Open GL 3D, providing super anti-aliasing process for 3D games.

Logically I should get batter performances from my AppleTV2 but this is not the case. I get croppy 720p playback. Can someone tell me what I haven't understand correctly?

Thanks,
S@

You don't have any hardware acceleration on that version of xbmc.

Tried the 13.0 Alpha5 version and still same. No HW acceleration. Video/Audio chopping all the time.
Now what... trash the Android Box?

yep. Better get Mygica ATV1200 for XBMC. Works nearly perfect here.
