Parse RAR files to read media files in them

i'm just wondering if compressed subtitle is on the current features list for xbmc?

though not yet implemented in cvs, there is a patch that apparently does the trick (haven't tried yet).

the patch is at http://sourceforge.net/tracker....=581840

it's a new patch, so i imagine it'll probably go through some further dev/testing before implemented to cvs.

this may be a stupid question but i ask it anyway

i like to be able to play my movies without uncompress the movie(90 rar files) into a img or a avi.

maby this is impossible?

they are talking about the actual search button at the top of the screen, not the posted pic of the search button in the post.
