what about a "quick-step" feature (dont know what else to call it, so that one can set one or more points in a movie/media file, and use another button to quickly step to that point at a later time.. could be quite useful when one stops in the middle of a movie to do something else. with that feature, one could just set a pointer and when one want to continue, simply skip straight to that point instead of scanning forward.. (which rarely ends up at the same point where you left off).
i'd also like to see in the xmc, if possible, a larger thumb of the cover of movies (imdb photo).. maybe double..? resultion probably would be crappy, but i think it would be easier to look at on the tv if it were a bit bigger.
also some sort of category sorting of media files would be neat (dunno if that feature is the same as in the current ver.), so that any file could be categorized easily into a preset category (from a list or something of categories, "action movies", "science fiction", etc)...
regards,
Quick-step feature
