Is it possible for someone to create his own custom screensaver, or at least set a video file to act as a screensaver? I would really appreciate such a feature!

im after somethiung like this too, one like the play pictures feature in windows media center while music is playing but one that would include video clips as well

It exists in this forum, just a couple of posts down and has existed and been active for quite some time (2013/last posted on 1 week ago).

I'd take your Google in for a service or get a new one

Addonscripter created it and it's in his repo. It plays any video from a folder or smart playlist or random videos from a directory.

I usually use it this time of year by pointing it to a folder of log fires etc
