I'm new to the DIY HTPC scene, and have installed xbmcbuntu, frodo build. For some reason, I don't get any audio from any "video" plugins. Has anyone else had this issue? I know the connections are good because my movies play just fine.

Is there a setting somewhere I can fix this? Has anyone else had similar issues?

Thanks

So in case anyone comes across this - I fixed it. The solution was in the SYSTEM --> Settings --> Audio setup. there are 2 toggles for an audio source. only one was set to HDMI. I changed the other to HDMI as well, and bingo- audio works. Also note that if your screen isn't setup the mute icon appears in the top right corner behind the clock and you may not see it. I am using the xbmc android remote, and I don't see any adjustments for audio, so if you connect a keyboard you can use the + and - keys as a quick check for that.
