XBMC on device with limited storage
#1
I'm considering getting the new Nexus 7 which has no SD card slot. And I'm debating whether to get the 16gb or 32gb model. For the most part I plan to use it to watch video, and I was thinking that XBMC would be great on such a portable device when I'm at home.

Looking at my current XBMC installation on my windows PC, my database files plus thumbnails consume several gigabytes. As far as I understand with XBMC the database and thumbnails must be stored locally on the computer or Device.

Really basic question... just wondering if I am missing something... Am I right to think that it's best to get the model with more storage space, so that I have room for the XBMC database?

More space is always good. It's sort of a way to future proof.

Path subs (wiki) can be used to move thumbs to a network share for devices with limited memory.
