Naming convention for series
#1
Hi,

I have read the wiki for naming conventions, but still can't get things to work.
Under my TV serries folder I have the following:

Series
|
|--Seinfeld
| |
| |--Seinfeld S01 E01 Pilot.avi
| |--Seinfeld S01 E02 Male Unbonding.avi
| |--Seinfeld S01 E03 The Stake Out.avi

Now when I browse through my folders and put the selectionbar on Seinfeld, I see the image of the Seinfeld series and the cover of the DVD.
When I open that folder, I see the images for all the episodes when I put the selectionbar on 1 of them.
Works.

But now I want to split it all up in seasons, so I change it into this:

Series
|
|--Seinfeld
| |
| |--Season 1
| | |--Seinfeld S01 E01 Pilot.avi
| | |--Seinfeld S01 E02 Male Unbonding.avi
| | |--Seinfeld S01 E03 The Stake Out.avi
| |
| |-Season 2

But when I put the selectionbar on Season 1 (or 2) then no info is displayed.
Is this normal behaviour?

Without jumping into wiki's and conventions... I'm not sure why you have put a space between the seasons and episode numbers... but XBMC should still pick it up. Try and rescrape in file mode, if that doesn't pick them up.. del the space between the S01 and E01

Seinfeld S01 E01 Pilot.avi
Seinfeld S01E01 Pilot.avi

Thnx, but I guess my post was not clear enough.
XBMC recognizes the folder Seinfeld, it recognizes the files, both have images, but there is nothing showing when the selectionbar is on Season 1, Season 2 etc.

I guess I'm miss-understanding this issue... If there is no episodes in Season 1 & 2 sub folders with covers, my presumption is they didn't scan into the library...(wrong?) Did you re-scan in file mode without the spaces?
