pcDuino and XBMC: 12.0 to 12.2
#1
Hello! I have a pcDuino, few days ago I updated the Ubuntu operating system according to this post, the update makes pcDuino work almost perfectly. The XBMC media center works great! That's where I have doubts.

The XBMC version that was installed with the update of Ubuntu is the 12.0 (Frodo), I've read in xbmc.org last stable version is 12.2 (Frodo).

Someone can tell me how can I upgrade XBMC? With this update works the add-on for YouTube?

Thank you!

hello, you may try to update the XBMC by using "boardconfig.sh". It should work for any software online update, for futher question, you can try to post your question at: http://www.pcduino.com/forum/
Hope it helps youSmile

Excuse me for not being able to read your answer, when I use the command "board-config.sh" in a terminal window, it opens a window update and it asks what you want to update, I choose XBMC, then, the window switchs to a terminal window where, after some delay, says that XBMC is updated, but when I open XBMC it continues with version 12.0.

That problem is related to the reppos?

What one will support Kodi ( V3 only?)

Clearly it works well

Is it really 0.99 USD?

Can anyone confirm if the pcDuino3Nano Lite A20 will support Kodi ?

Thanks

The pcDuino is based on an Allwinner A-series SoC. They have poor support in Kodi because Allwinner have yet to release decent Open Source drivers for their video playback acceleration systems (a long running saga...). They also have a reputation for not being GPL compliant... Best avoided...
