Hi There,
I was trying to troubleshoot why the XBMC remote stopped working

as the title says, I'm missing all the options and cant set it up!


There's no port number.. There's no username or password and there isn't even a Zeroconf menu item (I also have the latest iTunes installed)
very frustrating because this all worked at some stage. I have tried the lattest stable and Gotham Alpha6. with no luck

You need to enable advanced/expert mode for the menu. If you click on the left center arrow, you would have that option.

FFS Why would the devs hide these essential options! Makes no sense whatsoever.

How to change the settings level, as well as which settings should be "advanced" or not, is still being debated :)

I think it's easy.. don't have levels at all. put all in there. It will save you a lot of support questions in the future.

Sorry if I come across a little strong, I'm just fed up with running around in circles with this stuff. One day it works, then it doesn't. Then it works, then it doesn't.

Now I'm off to battle my Bonjour issue. Is it my router (don't think so, it worked yesterday), iTunes update (11.0.5.5) or XBMC? The rage continues...

You've got me all wrong.. I only tried the alpha to see if there was a fix for my problem
