Hi gents,
XBMC is the love of my life (much to the frustration of my missus). Along with Vox commando it is the perfect home media solution.
I don't want to take away from the development of the PVR functionality in any way. I can't wait for the day that I can dump Windows media Centre altogether, but I think we can all agree that at present the XBMC PVR functionality is not for the amateur enthusiast.
I thought it might be good to share my experience with anyone looking for a solution that encompasses the MCE PVR seamlessly by using Eventghost and/or Voxcommando. I have the best of both worlds without ever feeling I'm switching applications. Below is a link to my youtube demo. I will be putting up a tutorial shortly.

If you like home automation then check out the rest of my channel whilst you're at it
