This looks really promising for Bitcasa use. Thanks a lot to all the developers involved in bringing this to life. Smile
For troubleshooting and bug reporting please make sure you read this first (usually it's enough to follow instructions in the second post).

Does this setting effect vidoes coming over the pvr backends? I'm using the simple IPTV pvr addon and sometimes http channels have buffering issues.

Hmm, I'm honesty not sure, but I think it does. Everything except DVD and BR disc playback should be buffered, from the comments said about the feature.

Do this settings work only in Gotham nightlies or Frodo 12.2 also can use them? I am looking for ways to optimize streaming from Bitcasa, which I believe can be resolved with cache tweaking.

The first post literally says it only works in nightly builds..

Heads up, one of the tags changes for the most recent nightly builds in the Alpha 10 cycle:

Quote:<alwaysforcebuffer> got superseded by <buffermode>. I didn't update the wiki yet since I wanted to do this just before we release the next alpha including the feature. Just set <buffermode>1</buffermode> we should give the same behavior

Will get all values on the wiki page soon.
