Hey, I have XBMC for my OUYA and have succeeded at downloading it in a million different ways. I was just wondering what the main point of it is. I don't have any videos that I made that I want on there and my music is on iTunes and thats fine with me. I also am having trouble with getting any TV shows on it so if someone could teach me how to do that, too, I would appreciate it.

It's mainly for people who have existing movie collections that have been digitized/ripped onto HDD, but there are lots of great streaming video add-ons as well. It's also a UPnP and AirPlay receiver, and more.
