I see no errors in there, we are assuming internet works on that box?

Internet is working fine, xbmc can access any online addon.
Is there a way to verify that nothing is blocking the traffic for subs search maybe ?

wooops! Wrong log file it seems. sorry about that.
The issue is not related to the use of icesomething or any other addons violating forum rules. The problem occurs whatever source I am reading from.

Any local files on that box that you can try with... I am not sure what funny business icefilms dobin Python, so if you could restart and without running icefilms try to play local file and search for subs...

I usually play files stored on my server (as seen in first log file), I will try as you recommend tonight when I get back home and post the new log file.
Thanks for your help, much appreciated.
