#1
Hi,

Impossible to get any connection whatever sub provider I choose. I always receives the error message "Connection failed".

I do not know what details I need to provide, so let start with the log file : http://xbmclogs.com/show.php?id=53325

Cheers guys

I see no errors in there, we are assuming internet works on that box?

Internet is working fine, xbmc can access any online addon.

Is there a way to verify that nothing is blocking the traffic for subs search maybe ?

I cant see any errors in log pointing to blocked sites, can you open opensubtitles/podnapisi site from there?

I can ping/open any subs site. I tried opensubtitles, podnapsi and subscene, they all give me the same result.

The issue is not related to the use of icesomething or any other addons violating forum rules. The problem occurs whatever source I am reading from.

Any local files on that box that you can try with... I am not sure what funny business icefilms dobin Python, so if you could restart and without running icefilms try to play local file and search for subs...

I usually play files stored on my server (as seen in first log file), I will try as you recommend tonight when I get back home and post the new log file.
Thanks for your help, much appreciated.
