I have the Claro Halo XT card in my HTPC and would like to use its 7.1 analog surround feature. For the Audio Output Device, I can select either:
HT-OMEGA CLARO HALO, DIGITIAL S/PDIF (which works with a normal 5.1 optical+reciever setup) or
HT-OMEGA CLARO HALO, MULTICHANNEL.
When HT-OMEGA CLARO HALO, MULTICHANNEL is chosen, it still transmits the digital optical signal and nothing comes out of the analog ports.
Ubuntu 13.04 core with XBMC-XVBA for the frontend.
