Hi there,
I'm pretty newbie to XBMC, so excuse me if I'm not able to report the problem I'm experiencing with logs and similar.
I've installed the last stable ver of XBMC on my Win7 Ent 64bit.
Unfortunately when I startup XBMC the screen is presenting unrecognizable characters on every menu button and this is happening on every screen I select.
For this reason XBMC is impossible to be used, I'd love to make it work instead.
Who can help me on this odd issue?

Just a quick info more. My windows 7 is sp1, the XBMC release I've installed is 12.2, the xbmc log has been pasted to http://pastebin.com/ai35RFs2

Likely a video driver problem. Try updating driver.

i encountered same problem after updating my windows8 computer and tried to re install xbmc. how do you know which video driver to check? apologies for my ignorance
