Definitely points 1, 2 & 3 work fine if you use a non-Android build. You can just make an image of Geexbox on an SD Card (which is similar to OpenElec).
I have not tried on Android, because didn't want to use Android. You can also run XBMC on linux (e.g. ArchLinux, and Ubuntu soon).
Cubox-i is fast, and can run the Aeon Nox skins with no problem.
mk123 clearly has an agenda, because he has posted on the cubox-i forum that he will post damaging comments at any opportunity about cubox-i.
He doesn't want you to read about people who say xbmc is fine in Android

For now the best XBMC development for cubox-i is available in: Geexbox, OpenElec, Yocto, and linux.
People who have an axe to grind about Android XBMC not working should remember that Android XBMC was not officially supported in Frodo, and Gotham is still in Beta.
