Still not finding it
I am running windows 7 ultimate..
I think I am close
C:\ Program Files (x86) \ XBMC \ addons \skin.confluence \720p
After this I am at a list of 30 plus things to choose from.
I should be looking for this.....CORRECT
<control type="rss">
<description>RSS feed</description>
<posx>100</posx>
<posy>0</posy>
<height>30</height>
<width>1145</width>
<font>font12</font>
<urlset>1</urlset>
<textcolor>blue</textcolor>
<titlecolor>blue</titlecolor>
<headlinecolor>white</headlinecolor>

Oh I think I got it. Is <scrollspeed>300</scrollspeed> to be added to this
<control type="rss">
<description>RSS feed</description>
<posx>100</posx>
<posy>0</posy>
<height>30</height>
<width>1145</width>
<font>font12</font>
<urlset>1</urlset>
<textcolor>blue</textcolor>
<titlecolor>blue</titlecolor>
<headlinecolor>white</headlinecolor>

You should save a copy of the default Home.xml in case you hose the file with your modification and need to get back to a working version.
