No add sources option
#1
Guys I am new to the site and XBMC and have little tech knowledge so I hope i can explain well enough where i need some help.
I have just purchased a Mac Mini 2.5 GHz, 4Gb RAM, OS 10.8.4 and downloaded V12.2 Frodo. I intend to use XBMC to access video and music files from a network drive via ethernet. When I enter "Video" there is no "add source" option. I have ensured the "Appearance/Settings" has add source selected. The "add source" option shows in "Music" and "Pictures" and has no problem in accessing the drive that also holds the videos when using either of these.
I have tried "Import Video Library" which does not give me the option of setting a source that is not on the local drive.
I have downloaded XBMC onto my laptop with same OS and have exactly the same issue.
Hope you can help. Thank you.

Welcome to the XBMC forums.

Do you see an "Add Videos" option? That's what's used to add a video source.
