Looks like Goear.com have changed their website layout, so all the names of everything we scrape from the search page changed!

Maybe the following will get you going again

I was going to report the same thing, but I see Rob beat me to it. Big Grin
ASUS Chromebox M004U (LibreELEC 8.2/Aeon Nox SiLVO)--->HDMI--->Onkyo TX-NR646--->HDMI--->Panasonic P65VT30
@Rob
I replaced themeFetcher.py with the new file you linked but didn't see any change in behavior with goear. Maybe I didn't modify the script properly?
Debug Log
I just get a blank window titled Search Using when searching for themes on goear.com (The Da Vinci Code) but I get 5 hits via web browser.

Tested on my machine again, and it works OK - looking at your log, it doesn't appear you have the patch installed.

On another note: when replying to TvTunes's posts I'm getting the annoying:
Please correct the following errors before continuing:
The subject is too long. Please enter a subject shorter than 85 characters (currently 89).

Maybe replacing the following (or similar form):
TvTunes Addon - Retrieve and play your soundtrack themes whilst browsing your library

What's the correct way to install it? I just replaced the old themeFetcher.py with the new one and restarted Kodi. Or should I just wait for the patch to get pushed out through the repo?

Yes, you just copy it over the top - but you only need to patch if you want to use goear.com

I usually use all sources when I search. I'll try writing the new file again.

Rob, I opened this thread to get some help dealing with a stuck-on-exit issue I have been experiencing for some time:

So, the error in the log is complaining about the scraper - does this ONLY happen when you have previously done some theme scraping?

Rob
Hi Rob,

Not just after scraping, however and definetely not whilst TvTunes is only playing the themes on the Info or Video library screens. I have some extra info that could help:

This one exits succesfully:
Log when exiting XBMC whilst TvTunes add-on is playing music within info pane (no previous scrape done):
1) http://www.xbmclogs.com/show.php?id=286476

These ones get stuck and must be killed from Windows Task manager:
2) Log when trying to exit XBMC whilst TvTunes is on search window (no scrape process selected/triggered yet):
http://www.xbmclogs.com/show.php?id=286477

3) Log when trying to exit XBMC right after the scrape has been done whilst on the retrieved tracks list:
http://www.xbmclogs.com/show.php?id=286480
Best,

capfuturo

I have to ask - why are you trying to exit while you are in the moddle of doing a search?

For the same variety of reasons one needs to quit in the middle of watching a film Tongue

I think you are just going to have to be more patient Big Grin

The places you describe it's currently either "Waiting for the user to select something", or in the middle of downloading something the user requested - for these things TvTunes has handed the control onto something else (Either the user, or the system that is downloading something the user requested) - so will not do anything until it gets control back.

TvTunes scraper runs in "modal mode" - so there is no other thread tracking anything - it's a blocking call, so will not get control back until that thing has finished.

Just slow down! Wink

Rob

Rob

This is interesting because it transpires it isn't an issue, but rather something one shouldn't just try to do, due to the way the add-on is running, until TvTunes scraper stops. Thanks for explaining how and why this works in such way which makes sense to me.
Best,

capfuturo
