I read the streaming howto to make XBMC play RTSP streams - works fine with one stream at a time.

is there a way I can watch multiple streams at the same time? e.g., instead of having one full-screen stream, I'm hoping i can split the screen in 2 or 4 or 6 sections and watch streams inside each one.

How about a script to open multiple copies of, say, mplayer or vlc?

Difficult to control them after that though.
