OS X Using NFS exports from a linux server
#1
This isn't really xbmc related so much as it is about MAC OS X.

I have a mac mini set up to be the front end, using xbmc (Frodo now --- The wife is still adjusting, but some the ability to stream WXPN in Frodo made the persuasion easier.)
I have been using NFS exports from a Linux server over a 1 GB wired network for media access. Everything works as expected, using ro and noresvport on the mac for the mounts.

I just added another export to the Linux server and defined the mount on the Mac for Photos.
Same permissions on the Photos as all of the other media and the mount shows up on the Mac in the Volumes folder --- but no content is visble.
Not even root can ls in the directory -- you get
Code:
ls: : Operation not permitted

Is there some sort of limitation on the number of NFS mountpoints you can have with OSx? I have compared both the exports and the mount parameters and all the permissions and ownership grou and ID between what works and what doesn't. I can't see any difference.
