BUG? problem with GIF display
#1
i found a few issues with displaying gif images, both animated and non-animated.

they transparent areas seem to show up with color! the link has zip with included images i've used many items in html over many years.

the trans areas seem to turn green or white

the animated are really messed up!

i converted the non-ani to png, unchanged otherwise, and the trans areas work perfectly.

please let me know if you have seen issues like this or fix if you know of.

i've only tested using listcontrol, no other display method.

i would think it would be the same rendering engine in python, right?

the images show but they are hosed!

i believe you have to specify the transparent colour in the gif (via the <colorkey> tag in the skin, unsure whether it's available to python.

i mentioned this problem a while ago
here
my transparent colour went black which made it very hard to see the black line graphs i was trying to show.
i tried lots of different things, eventually i just gave up and found another project.
let me know if you figure it out because i would love to finish my script.
