Hope Im posting this in the right section, I have an atv (openelec) with xbmc on it Frodo 12.2, everything works fine but on certain movies and even some tv shows the pict goes dull then brightens up, I have an Imac, and have no problems on this, is the problem with atv hardware and maybe the ciniva protection that Iam hearing about

Is it consistent? As in, does it happen at the same point in a video file, or does it seem random? It could be a hardware issue. Ciniva isn't an issue for XBMC, so you don't have to worry about that.
