hello all,
im pretty new to plex in xbmc and macs so this problem is frustrating.(ive been using XBMC for a while on my htpc and love it!!!)
i have an unraid server (quad core 8gb ram) at my house. I use xbmc and everything is great! i love it. I run plex media server (PMS) so i can access content throughout hte house on roku (cheaper than htps) and we dont use them often) and that works great. i run plex on my phone and that runs great.
but hte problem is at my friends house (50mbps down 10 up) we have plex on his new imac and it works fine for most files but there are a few with DTS that buffer often. Ive tried everything with settings and concluded that it must be something in the software that is having and issue with those paticular files. ive tried movies with identical compressions and same size and have no issues...
is there anyway i can use XBMC on his computer to access my remote plex server to test?
