Hello,

Can someone suggest how can I completely eliminate the top one-line menu which is shown on entry in 'Live TV' full screen mode? The menu ('Intelligent shortcuts','Program Guide', etc - shown here: http://downloads.znet.ca/XBMC/XBMC-live-TV-top_menu.png - in french) is quite embarrassing when I use Xbian with TV remote.

I have the same question too. Although I'm not sure if this is a LiveTV or Ace question though.

that is supposed to be the smart menu i think. can you just hit the back button to get it to go away? or does it always show up?

There is no Top Menu in Full Screen mode. The full screen mode is accessed by the press TAB key or in button that is on the media control bar.

Just because the furniture if auto-hide not mean that it is full screen, are different things.

I have a LOT of trouble using hte Live TV in Ace. It's the only area I have trouble in. The rest is pretty great.

Of course, a lot of this is due to the fact that they don't make it EASY at all to even setup live TV. It's like Windows purposely tried to make it hard for any other program other than WMC for Live TV (In the United States). It sucks.

You should check out this thread: http://forum.xbmc.org/showthread.php?tid=171216. It allows you to setup WMC as the backend pvr for XBMC.
