Advancedsettings.xml not loding after restart
#1
Hi

Just installed the latest XBMCBuntu and everything is working as it should... almost...

I have made a local installation and it is working.
I have loged in to Ubuntu and edited the advanced settings.xml file.
When I log out from Ubuntu and into XBMC the settings works in the advanced file but when I restart the computer, the file just not works.
It feels like I'm saving the file in the wrong place but it works when I logout form ubuntu and in to XBMC. It just dosent do it after I restart...

any ideas?

Check your debug log (wiki) after a restart and see if your advancedsettings.xml is being read. You did place the file in your userdata (wiki) directory, right?

When I start directly into XBMC the log shows me the following error:
Unable to open database: .... can´t connect to MYSQL server on ...

The strange thing is that if I right after looking at the log file. Logout from Ubuntu and choose to login to XBMC, it works...
