Clock Reset and Cannot Connect to Network
#1
wife has been doing some decorating yesterday and had to unplug the xbox.

i've turned the xbox back on and the clock in xbmc and m$ dash has reset. so i went into m$ dash and reset the clock but even though my network settings are correct i cannot connect to the internet or xbox live i.e. in xbmc it won't connect to the network.

any ideas how to sort this one out? am using xenium os (current version).

am connecting wirelessly, not sure if that will make a difference.

try to narrow down your problem. first off, try to establish some sort of connectivity. with no network connection, you lose your ability to diagnose and/or fix the problem. first, attempt to connect via a hard-wired connection (if you have access to the router). set xbmc to use dhcp, hook it up and let 'er rip.

assuming that your wired connection works, then you can view your log file and see exactly why you're not getting connectivity. (xbmc saves your current session as xbmc.log and the last session as xbmc.old).
Always ensure that you read the faq and the online manual before posting support requests.
