I`ve a problem with the immersive skin, and been to the author who cant seem to find out why the skin reboots, is anyone having any reboot problems? These reboots happen when trying to open a strm file, trying to enable the subtitles add-on in settings, and selecting skin under appearance setting. I`ve enclosed a log. can some please test this skin, and see if its specific to my set-up.

Is it a reboot (network lights go off, ssh connection is lost) or a restart (xbmc.bin disappears for a few seconds and is relaunched?)

First thing to check is dmesg after a restart for an out of memory killer message.

Yes. But use a file paste site like xbmclogs.com. No one will look at logs on a file hosting site.

It will be quite obvious - the last few lines will contain something like:
Code:
Oct 27 20:34:58 raspbmc kernel: Out of memory: Kill process 1233 (xbmc.bin) score 856 or sacrifice child
Oct 27 20:34:58 raspbmc kernel: Killed process 1233 (xbmc.bin) total-vm:500220kB, anon-rss:101456kB, file-rss:376kB
if this is the issue.

It looks like an OpenElec issue (was using Oss generic i386 ver. 3.2.0) and Xbmc would restart everytime 'DialogSelect.xml' was called. I don't have this issue on windows. I also tried a geexbox snapshot and the said issue wasn't present. I'm back to OpenElec 3.0.1- it doesn't have this issue.

have the same issue on OpenElec (3.4.3)

Let me generally ask u all. Is someone interested to finish this pretty nicce skin to a new level? But, hold on, i am not a programmer - just a designer

Yeah.. Its a really nice skin. Simple yet elegant. I'm not much of a coder but I know my way around xml files- managed to mod the skin to my liking! Anywho, I tried a dirty trick (using another 'DialogSelect.xml' file) and the xbmc restart issue was gone. So I bet its something minor that can be fixed.
