I have an HDhomerun prime. It works fine for wmc and streaming to a single client. I can't get two clients to stream. XBMC just says that there are no tuners available or that it cannot change channel or something generic. I can get XBMC to stream and the HDhomerun quicktv client to stream at the same time.

I'm assuming that you are using you HDhomerun prime with MediaPortal TV Server as the backend. (You refer only to wmc ;-)
These tuning error messages come from the TVServer backend.
What happens if you use 2x the MediaPortal frontend? Same problem?

haven't tried two mediaportals. I've done media portal and xbmc and hdhomerun quicktv and consumed all three tuners..streaming at the same time correctly. Two xbmc's fail though.
Sorry..i do have a MP backend. Running 1.5 with the 1.3? tvserver plugin.

The reason for asking about two mediaportals is that I don't know yet whether the problem is the TVServerXBMC plugin or whether the TVServer itself is causing this...
Check also your TV server log files for clues.

Ok. Only one media portal will work at once. but hdhomerun quicktv will run.
