does anyone know if the raspberry pi comes with the parental lock on or how do you take them off sorry but am new to all this malarkey but some films do not open or just says access declined

I am also new to Raspberry Pi. Did you buy the codecs MPEG-2 and/or VC-1 license key?

The RPi is just a piece of computer hardware. It doesn't even come with any OS, let alone a "parental lock" mechanism. I think the problem is either as explained by Brogaard or you are accessing some media streaming site that has implemented geo-blocking (or some other limiting factor) on some of its contents.
