I was really hoping to find a way to make the notifications just a bit smaller. Or even if there are any such"banner" notification addon's that I may not be aware of? Alternatively is there anyway to scale down the UI just a tad?
I ask because I often am watching 1080p content and I definitely want the notifications of when new tv shows/movies have been added or what not but I find the box is cutting into the video just a bit much for my tastes. IMO, I think a banner notification (a la IOS) would be best for taking up less real estate and minimizing any chance of video overlay, as then it would appear in the black bar above the video or at minimum be less of an obtrusive in your face look at me notification when overlaying your video.
Does anyone have any suggestions for this request? Should I be looking at different skins or learning to mod skins myself for something like this?
