Greetings,

I'd imagine this would be an easy question for the experience. I've installed XBMC, then installed the Plexbmc add-on, with the accompanying Plex media server to stream tv from. This is on a basic Windows XP base machine. I added links to the PMS and XBMC in the startup folder to boot them automatically. However, it always boots the XBMC, then the PMS. When the PMS boots, it's automatically minimizing XBMC to the taskbar. I'm trying to prevent that from happening.

Any suggestions on how to properly boot both up to a full screen XBMC?

under system settings use fullscreen rather than use true fullscreen, enable or disable.

That didn't seem to work. It also creates another small issue because it's not true fullscreen(task bar is still visible). Any other suggestions?

I have the Aeon Nox skin, which could be part of the complication as to why your suggestion didn't work for me.

i would recommend that you use a launcher for xbmc like XBMCLauncher (simple way) or Eventghost (more advanced/customizable way) and set it to focus the xbmc window after loading PMS and your other server apps.

(ps: eventghost is a little harder to set up, but you can actually set PMS to launch completely hidden from the user interface and to not steal the window focus)
