This is the complete log for the problem I have. When I start XBMC I get a window with message; PVR manager is starting up Loading channels from clients

Then nothing...it stays stuck and when I close XBMC it crashes.

BTW: I'am a newbie at this and thanks for the help

I think you might need to reset the xbmc database. Go to system>settings>livetv>general and then choose 'reset the pvr database'

I'm not sure what you mean by the original setup.

This looks to be a client side problem so can you please also generate an XBMC Debug Log and upload it for perusal?

hmmm it doesnt throw any errors it just never makes any more calls after it loads the ChannelGroups and Channels for radio and tv... The XBMC log is pretty busy with all manner of things, like media scrapers looking through your download directory trying to scrape media information for zip files that arent even media etc... Are you certain this is how you want to have XBMC setup? Generally you should only have media files in the area you configure XBMC to have as it's media library etc... by using your general download directory it is looking at everything youve downloaded included applications, zip files etc etc,

For your particular problem I would suggest to disable LiveTV, shutdown XBMC. Start it up again (still in debug mode) and wait until the log settles down from all the library updates and so on.

Once the log is a bit quieter, perform a full reset of the PVR and EPG databases (under System->Settings->LiveTV->General and ->EPG) then re-enable LiveTV and the pvr.wmc addon. If it still doesnt load the channels etc, upload the log again and hopefully it will be a bit clearer this time without all the media updates etc going at the same time? You should also upload the ServerWMC log that matches the same time period/event sequence just for cross checking purposes
