'Add-on doesn't have the correct structure' only happens in OSX
#1
Hello,

I created my first working helloworld add-on(.zip) in windows that works just as expected. I installed the same add-on in OSx and it works; but when I unzip and re-zip the same it gives the error: " Add-on doesn't have the correct structure "
I turned the loglevel to 2, but it does not give me any useful information.
I also removed any installed files from /userdata/packages/.
I am lost as to what is wrong with zip feature in OSX(mac) that makes it not to work.

PS: I also checked for DS-Store folders in OS, but that does not seem to happen.

OSX adds some extra junk in it which XBMC doesn't like.
not sure how that could be solved but it can

Ya.. it was the DS_STORE again. It was lurking inside one of the resource folders.
Thankss

It's fine if you zip using the command line.
