Welcome to the XBMC forums.

What is your operating system? Which version number of XBMC are you using?

Thanks for the response, My hosting hardware for xbmc is Matricom G-Box Midnight MX2, I have a 2TB external Hard drive connected to it with movies,music,etc...when i launch xbmc app it all plays perfectly from the movies, music, pictures etc..but when i try to play my .ISO file movies mostly 3d blueray backups it just does not play, I keep getting "file not supported". and here I am in the hopes of finding the help so i may play my .iso file movies.

He did answer part of it; he's running Android... As for the XBMC... Are you using Frodo (12.2) or the in-progress monthly/nightly versions under development (or some really old version)?

I've seen a few posts about Android issues with BR .ISO files. And support/response on them has been... All I can say is I have one android using it and it works some of the time... But not all of the time. My Linux and Windows rigs handle the BR .ISOs just fine, but we all know that.

Check the logs and see if there is any more debugging information is there would be my first step. Information on logging and getting all that going for information: http://wiki.xbmc.org/index.php?title=Log_file/Easy

However, the 'droid solutions I could find all had conversion solutions (changing the iso to something else... bleh)... However, there is this about the androids also, perhaps try the nightly build?: http://forum.xbmc.org/showthread.php?tid=173029 Again, which version are you using?

I'm not sure the version on the download page is the best. Android is certainly a work in progress. However I cannot presently find a reference to the latest and greatest builds.
