Hello,

Since a couple of months I get serveral script errors like 'addon.py, python.py, common pugin cache,...
A lot of my plugins just don't work, most of the time I get an error when trying to start them.
I tried a fresh install of XBMC several times, but the issue stays. (also deleted XBMC user folder)

I looked in this forum and others and tried different solutions, but I can't make it to work.

Does anyone know how to resolve this issue?

It's because of the accented character in your name. This may be fixed in Gotham, but I'm not sure.

One workaround may be to install xbmc C:\XBMC and run in portable mode > http://wiki.xbmc.org/?title=XBMC_for_Win...table_mode
