When I am using Bello, XBMC's CPU usage never drops below 12%. Completely idle, sitting at main menu, screen gone dim. If I switch back to Confluence, CPU usage drops to about 2%. CPU is a Core2Duo E8400, nowhere near underpowered.

I don't know how much control a skin developer has over this.. but I just wanted to point it out. It could really use some optimization if possible. 12% is quite a lot when XBMC is doing absolutely nothing.

I have same problem with raspberry pi. On menù without animation have cpu about 150% (Linux... Difficult to esprime with %).
When enter in a menù, for example "configuration" cpu drop to 20%.

So ghere is some trick for reduce cpu when idle? Bello skin is very very good!
