Testers wanted: XBMC v12.3 testing
@Memphiz - both versions seem to work fine (well, apart from the first filling my log up with msg: LIBNFS: sizeof struct stat: 36 messages :-) ).

No apparent crashes accessing PVR logos or video sources over nfs:// links. So, whatever you've done, it seems to indicate success!

Thanks...

Still needs to buffer long when you skip 5 seconds, or 5 minutes...

Thats the point - i only recompiled it (obviously missed to remove a debug output i added). So somehow the libnfs package on our mirrors is wonky Sad. Will try to repackage.

Ha - now i got it. The Frodo 12.3 branch is missing one backport from mainline. Thx for pointing this out (actually we are using 1.6.1 on windows 1.6 doesn't have the fix - basically you spotted a crash i fixed month ago in mainline and we forgot to backport it to the frodo branch Smile ).

This should be fine in the final 12.3 release. Thx.

Excellent - glad you found it - case closed, then!

Just installed the 12/1 build -- upgraded over 12.0 -- on my Acer AR3700 running Windows 7. Seems pretty stable so far. Will report back if anything crashes or I encounter any unexpected behavior.

Just installed the Frodo 12.3 version of 20131201 on my Windows 7, having uninstalled previous Frodo 12.2.

FYI, I reported a "replaygain" bug with 12.2 (see: http://trac.xbmc.org/ticket/13948) to which I received the reply "we have a pr for this which is reviewed: https://github.com/xbmc/xbmc/pull/3587" (see: http://forum.xbmc.org/showthread.php?tid=151465).

I'm not sure whether or not this should have made it into the 20131201 release, but the bug is still there.Huh

Apart from that the release seems to be fine.

Looks like it's still being reviewed for inclusion in master. This is just a guess on my part, but I wouldn't hold my breath on this being included in 12.3, since a lot of audio stuff has changed between 12/Frodo and master/Gotham, so the fix might not work when applied back to 12/Frodo. Especially as this seems to have been a bug throughout all of Frodo?

Thanks for the info Ned. I won't hold my breath for this to be implemented. Luckily I only have a couple of albums with which Replaygain will make a big difference (I transferred them from vinyl some years ago).

The good news is that Gotham will kick much ass when it comes to these audio/music areas. A lot of improvement has happened since Frodo.

So you're saying the OS X and iOS versions of XBMC 12.3 *won't* kick ass?
