Happens on my 3 intel builds. Files play great in windows mediaplayer and mediaporal, just not in xbmc. I bought 2 NUCs and ended up reformatting my 3rd the same day and all now have terrible playback. Sucks because I finaly just got XBMC to how I like it :*(
Sounds like the issue is in the driver, which means there's nothing we can do on XBMC's side to fix it. Intel's people claim a fix will eventually come, but cannot give an ETA. Intel seems to be a little slow fixing Windows graphics drivers issues in general, it seems.

Any chance to bump the pvr-addons to the latest Frodo state before the 12.3 release to include the bugfixes for e.g. the MediaPortal pvr addon?
I saw that Opdenkamp did include my changes, but he didn't do a version bump in the XBMC frodo branch.

Is 12.3 final getting released soon - or is there a Nightly that is basically the same?
I'm not an expert but I play one at work.

I ended up downgrading my computer back to Snow Leopard, I found Mavericks to be a little buggy and I wasn't able to do as much as I had wanted with it. I will probably at some point partition the hard drive to run a few different os's, but in the mean time, I'll be sticking with SL.

Hey Developers...
can you please tell me, why there is a change in the database scheme from 12.2 to 12.3 ?!?!? This creates serious problems in heterogeneous setups, since 12.3 updates the database from xbmc_de_musicdb32 to xbmc_de_musicdb37 and from xbmc_de_videodb75 to xbmc_de_videodb77.
I cannot update ALL my XBMCs to 12.3 (since there is no 12.3 build for other platforms)!
This change does not make sense at all! It makes life more complicated!

There is no change in the database scheme in XBMC 12.3. It is still using 75.
