Hi,

Yesterday I updated to 13.0 Alpha 9 , but after that there were many crashes of xbmc.
so this morning I decided to check if there were any updates : yes ! xbmc-bin was updated to alpha 10.
But after the update, my xbmc doesn't startup anymore.

Got this in my syslog :

thnx , installed the deb package : sudo dpkg -i xbmc-bin_13.0~git20131102.0500-354cb9c-0quantal_i386.deb
and it all works again.

I must get into a git install ..... (still using xbmcbuntu install cd) ;-)

I have the same problem (XBMC Media Center 13.0 Git :20131103-ALPHA10-da449ee).
I noticed that by removing the file advancedsettings.xml xbmc works. In my advanced setting is configured only pointing to the mysql database for libraries autdio / video.

Hello

+1 after upgrade to XBMC 13.0-ALPHA10 Git:018042d (Ubuntu 12.04). I confirm that removing advancedsettings.xml resolves the problem. It contains just:

It does not crash, just hangs right after reading advancedsettings file. Log is here
