Realan (inter-tech) build for 3.5" HDD
#1
Question
Here is my configuration (It's a case for my 3.5" HDD) (all stuff comes from computeruniverse.net, cheapest for Belgium I think) :
(Note that I don't want a big case, it's meant to be as portable as possible...)

Image Inter-Tech Mini ITX E-i7 84W schwarz 74,12 €

Image ASRock B75M-ITX Sockel 1155 M-ITX 66,60 €

Image Intel Celeron G1610 Sockel 1155 Boxed 36,51 €

Image G.Skill 4GB DDR3 Kit 43,62 €

Image be quiet! Silent Wings 2 80mm 15,57 €

Total : 259,01 € with shipping (to belgium)

+ A remote from DX.com
Image RII RT-MWK25 22,67 €

Overall total : 281,68 € with shipping (to belgium)

Do you think everything goes together ? (compatibility and size/place used within the box)
Are there cheaper alternatives (without performance losses) ?
What do you think of the remote ? (is it ok with both Windows and Openelec, no known issues ?)

As long as you're not installing a optical drive, the 3.5" HDD will fit. You'll need a low-profile cooler. The stock cooler will not fit with a 3.5" HDD or the optical drive bay installed. You will also have to install the 80mm on the opposite side from where the 3.5" HDD is since they will interfere with each other.
