Video Card
#1
I have the video card in my sig because it supports HD audio. Does anyone know if an AMD 7970 supports HD audio? I'd like to make my HPTC a viable gaming machine. I went with an i3 and I think maybe 16 GB RAM when I built it. I just wanted a decent HTPC box. It's got an Intel micro ATC with i3 and the 670 card. I'm not even sure I want to mess with it because the card I assume would require a new PSU and make more noise.

Would it not be easier to read the specs on the makers site ?

Not necessarily. I bought a high end card before and HD audio was supposed to be supported but it didn't work. That's when a form member suggested I go with a lower end card.
