Linux AMD E350 BluRay playback choppy
#1
Hello

Just played a bit with the latest version of openelec (Frodo 12.2) and with its support for bluray (discs). So far so good but seems I am not able to get a fluid playback Sad I have only 2 packs of discs ('Human Planet' and 'Planet Earth') and it has problems with both of them.
Trying to play a 1080p file from my NAS works perfectly (24 fps).

What could be wrong with the playback from disc?

Buffer seems full as I get P(aq:99%) the CPU load is very small (35-45% per core), acpu: 18%, vcpu:13%.
The problem might be the W(fps:9.62) and S(refresh:60 missed:2 speed:+0.000% sync: +10% avg: 36% error: 36%)

Thanks in advance for any ideas (I tried all combinations in video/playback....)

Hardware: Asus Mobo, AMD E350, 4GB RAM, Lexar 16GB USB3.0, Sony TV

I am not @Home right now, as soon as I get there I generate the log.

But in the meanwhile I think I know what's happening Sad

Both BluRay packages are 1080i ! And I found in the revision log of ffmpeg 2.0 the following line: - VC-1 interlaced B-frame support
But I guess openelec (xbmc) is using the 1.2.3 (or older) version for now Sad

Unfortunately I have no bluray 1080p. I'll download some samples 1080i and 1080p over the night and make more tests.

Thx a lot for your quick reply!
