Hi all,

I had posted this on libstagefright support thread by reply, but no one response for now. so I'd like to make new thread on this as same.

My issue was happened when playing movie file seems to be slow (not playing smoothly).
Please take a looking at belows,

I'm used Android ICS 4.0.4 and ARMv7 2 cores(800MHz) w/ NEON.
FYI, This is not happened on MX player HW+ option.

Known issue. Right now libstagefright doesn't seem to work with VC-1 encoded video.

Though I believe you also also need Android 4.1+ for any of the hardware video decoding methods that XBMC uses.

Hi Ned,
The issue is not only mkv before I played, but also mp4, avi, etc (720p and/or 1080p).
Please considering about this to check my issue.
Though chipset is different, I think the similar issue as hisilicon , issued thread of http://forum.xbmc.org/showthread.php?tid=177377

You also need Android 4.1 or higher.

Correction, Ned.

libstagefright works from 4.0 to 4.3, not (yet?) for 4.4.
mediacodec works for 4.1+.

Hi koying,
Yes, I know Gotham support ICS4.0.4 as well.
I tried new one of xbmc-20131116-f8b9117-master-armeabi-v7a.apk again, then it looks better & stable than before xbmc-13.0-Gotham_alpha9-armeabi-v7a.apk. But still playing media slowly.
I understand this phenomenon has many cases.
However, please take a look again my xbmc log and captured video link and advice me.
