Bit of a strange one...
I have a Droibox MX (XBMC edition) running Jelly Bean and using wired ethernet works fine no problem...Jellybean and XBMC can both connect to the internet and other local resources. However with Wireless, Jellybean connects fine no problem and can access everything, however XBMC can't. When I'm using wireless, it's like XBMC can't see/use the connection which renders XBMC pretty useless as I can't access any of the videos on my LAN.
Has anyone had a similar issue or have any recommendations as to what I can try? It seems odd that as soon as I plug the ethernet cable back in, XBMC can see everything! Bugger is, I need the device to sit where it can't be wired in, so really need to get wireless working properly.
This is a stock install, by the way, nothing has been modified.
Interestingly both ways (wired/wireless) the network settings in XBMC are greyed out, I presume this is standard for the Android release.
