Win PVR Client Keeps disabling itself.

I emailed Immortal about it. I'm sure he'll be able to sort it out when he has time. If you can't wait, it looks like you should install by hand or zip file per awp0.

I'm looking into it now. It looks like google drive might not be stable enough to be the host for the repository. It may require being relocated to a different host.

Technically we are supposed to be transferring to the official repo. Would it make sense to look at moving there as opposed to moving twice?
The XBMC team, plug-in devs, skinners, etc. do this for us for FREE in their spare time because they want to. Think about that for a second before you start bitching...

Thanks for looking into this. If it is indeed something related to connectivity to the repo, then is this expected behavior? It seems like there's a bug somewhere that would allow a add-in to automatically disable itself when it can't connect to the repo.

What about a Dropbox repo until it's merged into official repo??
If I have been of help, please add to my reputation as a way of saying thanks, it's free.

How long before it is expected to be merged?

Even when we do merge, will it only be for gotham onwards? It seems like an intermediate fix will be worthwhile

Is it XBMC itself doing this, or your addon immortal? If the latter can't you build in some retries before disabling? Why does it disable anyway (eg who cares if repo is uncontactable occasionally, why does that mean an addon is suddenly no good to use )

Its also premature to assume we will get on an official release.

I can also attest to this issue.

I don't understand why the repo would have any effect on the installed addon. I am not experiencing this on my Linux and RPi systems. What happens if you disable the repository? I've added addons from a repository and then deleted the repository and it has never effected the addon before. Can everybody who is having an issue post their OS? Does the issue stop if you do a direct install from KR's download page?

Its happening on my win7 x64 system. I'll try deleting repo and report back if I have issues.

Edit: I disabled repo and it's been fine since.

Manually installed pvr client and havent had a issue at all. It normally would have done it by now.

I am not sure if this is related. This is my first time trying to use the software.

When I try to install "Windows Media Center PVR - Windows Edition (0.1.91):

When I click install, It says Downloading 0%, and then goes back to add-on disabled.

My Internet certainly works, and I have no firewall installed on this machine. I am trying to get live TV to work.

Edit:
Was able to download it manually and install after I figured out what that meant, and how to do it.
